The Esteli region is home to some of the best-known Cuban-leaf tobacco producers in Nicaragua, exporting their products worldwide. During this tour you'll visit one of these plantations and learn all about Nicaragua's premium cigar industry. Start at a local tobacco plantation to see how the best leaves are grown and harvested. Then you'll continue to the factory to witness the artisanal cigar making process, where you can take photos in designated areas, and learn how to make cigars, rolling your own, before being transferred back to your hotel.
